The Office is Where You Are

The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed how we work. After 18 months, it has become clear that Sage’s employees’ lives changed, and the way we work had to change with them. So we asked our employees what they wanted out of the future of work at Sage – and the answer was flexibility.

With SageFlex, the office is where employees are – employees can work remotely, in the office, or a combination of both – and that can change as often as employees want. Whatever the future of work looks like, all Sage employees are on a committed journey, working together to make medicines that matter so people can get better, sooner.

Sage’s goal is to help all employees walk a path that enables them to achieve their best, most purposeful work.

For example, with SageFlex, those who normally would have a difficult commute into the office will get time back, and hopefully a greater perspective on balance and well-being.

The Office is a Magnet (Not a Mandate)

Sage is designing its office to foster creativity, collaboration, connection and relationship building – an in-office experience that Sage hopes employees will enjoy.

Communication is Key

Sage will continually seek new ways to share information while staying in constant communication with employees.

Collaboration & Connection

Sage fosters a culture of collaboration where employees learn from each other every day.

With SageFlex, we will approach our collaboration with a remote-first mindset, leveraging technology and remote strategies, to ensure those who are not in the office feel included.

Sage values time together in person – in-person departmental and all-company meetings will continue in a space designed for collaboration, creativity and productivity. We commit to bringing people together 3 times a year.
