Investigator Initiated Research

Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) is a research grant that is initiated, sponsored, and conducted by a sponsor-investigator or sponsor that is intended to answer an unmet scientific or developmental need. These grant requests may be submitted to Sage for consideration of funding and/or in-kind drug support. IIR grant requests will be accepted only from countries where Sage has an approved product. It does not apply to Sage-sponsored clinical trials or research, collaborative research, or to expanded access or compassionate use of Sage products or investigational compounds.
